About the Project

Every business must generate sales to survive. It is futile to offer the best services and unparalleled products if they don’t translate into sales. A skilled salesperson can make a difference even in unsuccessful negotiations and help close successful contracts. Professional salespeople possess expertise in their field and have a profound understanding of the market and customer needs. In today’s fast-paced business world, having a team of sales experts is more critical than ever. The Iran Sales Development Center (VARIZ® Brand), as the name suggests, has established a platform that addresses the needs of organizations facing challenges related to sales and skilled sales personnel. By providing tools, resources, and specialized training, this center fosters a thriving marketplace for small and large companies alike.

The Visual Identity Design Process

The brand’s need was for typography in Persian and a logo, with a primary focus on ensuring the readability of the text. Fortunately, the brand managers provided specialized responses to our questions during the sessions, allowing us to identify and review all their requirements. During our brainstorming session, we arrived at key phrases that carried more significance than the other discussions and ideas. Some of these important phrases, which we aimed to incorporate into the logo design, included: disruptor, flow, satisfaction, tie, star, winner, growth, and several other themes. However, the Baly team has restricted the publication of all project elements, including sketches and the brand’s evolutionary path.

Designing the Visual Identity for VARIZ® Brand

The design of VARIZ®’s visual identity began with the development of the font body, progressing to the typography and then to the logo design. This process was indeed lengthy, as a good logo must convey a clear message rather than just tell a story.

This is a fundamental principle that all professional brand designers emphasize. However, the preferences of some company managers can lead to the misconception that a logo should convey multiple messages to the audience.

This approach is misguided and can have negative implications for the brand in the future.
