Takik Sports Supplement Packaging Design

Project Brief

Takik required suitable packaging design to kickstart its personal business. This brand focuses on sports products made with natural ingredients. The brand manager, a fitness coach, aimed to create products for individuals who cannot afford expensive sports supplements. These products were offered as an economical option with natural components for this segment of society.

Challenges

The challenges included a shift in the packaging design direction. Initially, it was planned to attach a label to a 1 kg plastic container. However, the client decided to change the design to a zip pouch, which would later have a label affixed to it. After a year of observing sales results, it was determined that the printing should be done directly on the metallized zip pouch.

Project Goals

Takik produced two types of sports supplements: protein and gainers, each with distinct characteristics. Initially, we used colors on the product labels to differentiate them. However, due to production issues and cost control, we decided that the protein packaging would be white with black printing, while the gainers would be the opposite.

Unique Solution

We chose to change the protein packaging to white. In this regard, the packaging design was created with a simple patterned background, placing all necessary information on it. This design is minimalist, ensuring that the product content remains clearly visible.
