Royal Face Wash Gel
In our opinion, capturing consumer attention for a product in the past five years has posed significant challenges for manufacturers. Royal, understanding this reality and the needs of its audience, sought to create a new packaging design for its face wash gel, "The Royal Jelly." The aim of this design was to craft packaging that, while maintaining simplicity and elegance, prominently displays the brand's identity and easily stands out among similar products in the market. This marked the beginning of our journey.

Royal Face Wash Gel Packaging Design
Objective
The goal behind the packaging design of the Royal face wash gel was to ensure simplicity while remaining cohesive with the brand’s identity. At the same time, there need to be a clear distinction from other Royal products to ensure easy recognition.
Brand Identity
Throughout all elements of the face wash packaging—including colors, fonts, and shapes—we have remained faithful to Royal’s visual identity.
Hierarchy Principle
By employing the principle of “hierarchy” in graphics, we arranged and colored elements such as the product name, skin type, and specific icons in a way that first captures the audience’s attention with the name of the product, followed by other information in order of importance.
Design Strategy
To address the issue of “visual similarity” in face wash packaging and to prevent confusion among customers, warehouse staff, and distributors, we implemented the
following solutions:
Color Coding of Box Tops
We defined a distinct color for each of the three skin types—dry, combination, and oily—and incorporated these colors into the box design.
Special Icons
We created simple, clear icons for each skin type, prominently displayed next to the packaging for easy recognition.
Box Cutout Design
A straightforward cutout on the front of the packaging enhances product distinction. This feature enables consumers to easily identify which skin type the product is suited for from a frontal view.
Printing Features
To give the box a unique appearance, we utilized special printing techniques such as gold foiling, embossing, and gloss finishes to enhance its appeal.
Waste Reduction and Cost Optimization
Through precise planning, Baly Creative Agency successfully designed repetitive elements, such as the honeycomb stroke (embossed area) and the bottle shape (gold foiling), to be applicable for all three types of face wash. This approach significantly reduced waste and achieved substantial savings in printing costs.
