Promotional Poster for Gigacell®
Gigasell (Ningbo Gigasell Electronics) is one of the leading manufacturers of electronic products in Ningbo, China. One of the key products offered by the company is the AA battery, for which a promotional poster has been designed. The packaging for the Gigasell zinc-carbon battery has been updated for various reasons, and notably, the battery's superior features, such as power, have also been enhanced.

The client requested that we initiate the poster design while adhering to these specifications. They emphasized that the goal is to showcase the battery’s power and inform consumers about the new packaging.
Project Challenges
The project commenced based on the client’s request, and our design concept for the poster aimed to evoke the power of the product in an exaggerated manner.The first creative team proposed using a weightlifter as a model, depicting the batteries as the power source for the athlete. The camera angle was designed to suggest that the key to the athlete’s success was the use of this type of battery. However, our challenge was that this visualization required photography, which was not feasible given the company’s budget constraints.
The next challenge in our second idea (execution concept) was that we needed to utilize stock images, and finding photos that matched our desired angles proved to be a time-consuming task.
Project Objectives
We decided to continue the poster design using image manipulation techniques, commonly known as photomanipulation. This approach allows us to create visually appealing and creative images that effectively convey the intended message without the need for professional photography.
Solution
This method enabled the client to avoid costs associated with photography and other related expenses. All they needed to do was provide images of their products and their logo. Ultimately, by utilizing photomanipulation techniques, we produced an attractive and impactful poster that showcased the power and unique features of the product. This approach not only helped in reducing costs but also significantly decreased production time.
